Anne Lula Hudson was born in Limestone County near a place called "Nus" on Oct. 24, 1893. Parents were James Bascom Hudson and Nancy Elizabeth (Pierce) Hudson. I am seeking information regarding these parents and their genealogy. Believe they came from Mississippi Clay County where they were married April 16, 1876.

Spencer R. SHARP and his wife, Sarah HENDERSON), homesteaded in Honest Ridge community in 1857. Does anyone know the location of this community. His son, Thomas Benton SHARP and his wife, (Ann ANDERSON Bennett), farmed in the Big Hill community after t he Civil War. Does anyone know where this is?

Looking for information about Edward COOK b. 1851 in TX who is listed in the 1870 and 1880 Limestone Co., TX Census. He married Mollie Ann (Mary Ann) UZZELL (b. 8-15-1841 d. 11-21-1877) and they had three children who lived to adulthood: Elverda b. 187 0 d. July 19, 1941; Lydia May b. 1872 d. aft. 1941 - married a SEIFRED; Edward Lee b. Aug 8 1875 d. 4 Oct 1940. Have some info on the decendents of Edward COOK and would like to share. Thanks - Dev Cook

Looking for information regarding Charlie A. and Elizabeth TAUL. Last know address was Mt. Calm, Limestone County in 1880. Their children were: Fannie (married Charles C. Campbell); Laura Belle (married James Matthias HALE); Lizzie; M.Luther; M.Paul; P arker; Willie; and S.Katie. Earlier, the family had lived in Lawson, Missouri. Matilda (HANCOCK)THOMASON was listed in the 1860 TX Census as being near Springfield, TX post office. Matilda (38 TN)was listed on 1850 Cen. DeKalb Co., AL (wife of Zachariah Thomason aged 46 TN)& their children. Matilda was the daughter of Lewis and F rances (Adams) Hancock (shown Cannon Co., TN 1850 Cen.). Zachariah Thomason was son of William Thomason/Thomasson of 1812 Tax List Warren Co., TN & his wife Sarah (Mullins) Thomason. My interest in these people is that Zachariah Thomason was the brother o f Lavinia Arline (Thomason) Gunter b. either 1795 or 1799 of Warren Co., TN. The area of Cannon County (Woodbury the Co. seat) was created 1836 out of Coffee, Warren and Wilson Cos., TN. Would like correspondence with anyone working these lines (Hancock a nd Thomason) in Limestone Co. In 1858, Matilda (Hancock) Thomason & Zachariah came to Limestone Co., TX and were living in the household of Matilda's mother, Frances (Adams) Hancock.

Hardy JONES(1824-1880) born Indiana, Married Martha Caroline BLACKBURN in Washington, Indiana in 1846. The family moved to TN and then to Texas near Mt. Calm in 1850.I am descended from Mary Annie Jones(1851- 1881) who married W. T. Westmoreland. In th e Mt. Calm Cemetery, I find graves for Mary Annie, Martha Caroline, and one of Martha's brothers. Where is HARDY JONES? Several markers in the cemetery are new, replacing those damaged by a tornado. The Cemetery Association says they were replaced by fami ly. I would like to contact descendants of the JONES or BLACKBURN families to exchange information. Jean Davidson

I am searching for information on 4 young boys who were orphaned sometime in the 1860s or 1870s. All the information I have is from my grandfather who said that he was born around Waco, I have no idea how far away that might have been! His father and m other were killed, or died, when he and his brothers were very young. They were taken in and raised, until old enough to go out on their own, by a man named Bill SMITH. The boys were William 1861-1945, John 1867-1940, Nash, and Sherman. John, My grandfath er went to Reeves Co. Tx, William and Nash went to OK (I have located them in the 1890s), Sherman may have gone to New Mexico. The family name is believed to be RACY, or some alternative spelling. My grandfather went by the name of DERACY, but he could no t read or write so it could have been John D. RACY. The 2 brothers in OK used RACY.
