I am looking for Luther Holman, his wife Rachel Kelly, and their children. Luther is listed in the tax rolls of Limestone County from 1849 through 1865. He is shown in the 1850 Census. He is shown with the following children - John HOLMAN b. Illinois 1 840, William Wesley HOLMAN b. Limestone County 1844, Elizabeth HOLMAN b. Limestone County 1847, George Washington HOLMAN b. Limestone County March 3, 1849, Willis K. HOLMAN b. Limestone County 1852, Martha J. HOLMAN b. Limestone County 1856, Minerva R. HO LMAN b. Limestone County 1860, Martha L HOLMAN b. Limestone County 1866. I have knowledge of George Washington Holman but I have no information on his other siblings, previous to Limestone County he is listed in the tax rolls of LaMar county Texas and sho ws a land grant 1840, he is listed as entering Texas on Dec 15, 1840 the same time as the land grant. The story in the family is that he was killed in Limestone county but I have no positive proof. Any help would be appreciated. He is the last non- confir med link in family search back to 1440.

Searching for information on any DALTON family. My GGgrandfather, C.F. DALTON with wife Mattie Ann (nee Livingston) and children Charles, Delma, James, Beucy, Eldrich and Mattie were believed to have lived in the Limestone County area. I can place them in nearby Falls Co, in 1900. I think they moved to the area from MS because they had family already there. Thanks.

SUBJECT: STOVER, ADAMS, TIDWELL, FLETCHER, McMAHON Evelyn (aka Eva) STOVER FLETCHER married Marion Leonard TIDWELL, Sr. on 8 Nov 1922. She had a daughter, Lucille, by first marriage. Lucille married Ralph J. MCMAHON, and they moved to Dallas where he w orked for Mobile Oil Co. When Ralph retired, they moved to Lafayette LA to live with a daughter, name unknown, until Lucille's death. Evelyn and TIDWELL had one son, Marion Leonard TIDWELL, Jr., born 29 Sep 1923, died 23 April 1925. We believe that Evelyn 's mother, Margaret ADAMS STOVER, may have moved to Mexia to live with her and TIDWELL circa 1920, and died 14 Jul 1936, perhaps in Mexia. Seeking any information on Evelyn, Lucille FLETCHER, Marion Leonard TIDWELL, Sr., and/or Margaret STOVER, including burial location/ cemetery. My mother was adopted at age 4 in 1932. Margaret STOVER was my gerat-grandmother. Evelyn STOVER FLETCHER TIDWELL was my great-aunt. Lucille FLETCHER was my 1st cousin, once removed. Any assistance or information would be greatly appreciated.
