Hill County: I am searching for information on my Great grandparents: John Larkin STRICKLAND, born on 1-7-1852 in Randolph County,Roanoke Alabama. He married my great grandmother who was a widow with children: Alice Virginia DYER HANEY,born 1-23-1853 in H empstead County Arkansas. Her father was James G. Dyer. James Dyer's family had moved to Mt. Calm,Texas. Alice was first married to Augustus Nickleous Haney. After Mr. Haney died, Alice married John Larkin Strickland in 1893. My grandmother, Myrtle Annie Strickland, was one of John Larkin and Alice Strickland's children. Please let me know if you have any information on these lines. Thank you.

My great-grandmother, Martha Elizabeth ANGLIN, was born in Limestone County on May 17, 1857. She died at Mart, Texas on July 05, 1928. According to her obituary, her father was William ANGLIN of Limestone County. Family records state that her mother was S arah O'WOODS. The 1850 census for Limestone County list William and Sarah ANGLIN, both age 29. Elisha, age 11 and William, age 7 are shown to be living in the above house- hold. I have tried to acquire Martha ANGLIN's death certificate in order to documen t William ANGLIN as her father but have so far been unsuccesful. Does anyone know who all the children were of William and Sarah ANGLIN of Limestone County, Texas? Any infor- mation on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. far

Mila Priscella BYRD married Berry ABERNATHY in Limestone County on December 24, 1891. Mila's father was Robert BYRD of Limestone County. Shortly after marrying, Mila and Berry ABERNATHY moved to Alabama. After Berry ABERNATHY died in 1910, Mila moved back to Limestone County with her two children Joseph and Emma. Mila married Thomas SHANLEY in Limestone County on December 2, 1914. I am seeking information on the BYRD family. Robert BYRD was a land owner with over 130 acres in the LIMESTONE area. Looking for information on James Lucus GILLIAM Sr. married to a Lula Mae BARNETT. They are buried in Horn Hill Cemetery near Groesbeck. Am trying to find out which county in Mississippi they are from. There children were all born in Limestone Co. They had 5 children. DATE: 30 AUGUST 1997 SUBJECT: Alonzo Pierce WATTS & Mary Elizabeth STEWART Alonzo Pierce WATTS was born 25 Feb. 1856 in Lousiana. He married Mary Elizaeth STEWART 06 Jan 1884 in Limestone County. Mary was born 18 May 1861 in Houston County, Texas. Her parents were James Jefferson STEWART and Mary Elizaeth VICK. James was born in 1818 in Alabama & Mary was born in 1825 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. In the 1900 Census Alonzo Pierce WATTS and his wife were living in Limestone Co. I have information on t heir daughter Mamie Amanda WATTS and her descendents. I would appreciate any other information on the WATTS.
