William H. Harmon, born to Henry and Emma (Bauer) Harmon, immigrants from Germany, on July 30 1867.  He died of consumption in January 1899, leaving a widow, Maggie (Brandt) Harmon and children, Joe, John, Leo, Margaret and Catherine.  He was an Altoona native and operated a milk depot in Altoona.  Contributor: Patty Millich
