Historic New Mexico Signatures
Welcome to our newest project! [May 2020]Yolanda Chavez has filled the Archives with old records over the last five years, more than doubling the amount of information we had in 2015. She recently suggested adding historic signatures and I agreed to give it a try. Some of these signatures come from a time when the area that is now New Mexico belonged to Spain. Since our counties didn't exist then, I've added them to this page but some of the signatures can be identified with the original governmental divisions of Santa Fe or Bernalillo, which stretched across both New Mexico and Arizona.
