Monday, September 20, 1971 MRS. J. SZUCS, FORMERLY OF BOWLER, DIES Mrs. Julia Szucs, formerly of Bowler and now of Appleton, died Saturday
morning, September 18. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM at
the Trinity Lutheran church in Menasha. Visitation will be at the Brown
funeral home in Menasha from 4 PM Monday until Tuesday at 11 AM and then
at the church until time of services. Burial will be at the Lutheran cemetery
in Tilleda.

SERVICES FOR MRS. MARY BUTTS ARE HELD TODAY Mrs. Mary Butts, 88, of 704 Maiden Lane, Shawano, died Friday, Dec. 24, after being in ill health for several years. She was the former Mary Kazda, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Kazda, and was born Sept. 7, 1883 in Oconto. She was married to William C. Butts on Apri110, 1907 in Menominee, Mich. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1945. She was a house wife and they farmed at Leopolis after their marriage. In 1967 she moved to Shawano to make her home with her son Earl. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church of Leopolis and St. John's Ladies Aid. Survivors are; daughters, Ethel, Mrs. Emil Reinke; Sylvia, Mrs. Edmund Gast and Pearl, Mrs. Russell Ringel, all of Shawano; and 2 sons, Harry Butts of Bowler and Earl Butts of Shawano; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Kazda of Shawano; Matt Kazda of Menasha; and Pat Kazda of Kingsford, Mich., 2 daughters (sisters) Barbara, Mrs. Frank Doscasel of Bowler and Mrs. Magdalene Maher of Leopolis. Six grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at St John's Lutheran
church in Leopolis and burial was in St. John's cemetery.
