MRS. ERNEST FELTZ, 78, DIES SUNDAY
SERVICES THURSDAY
Mrs. Ernest (Catherine) Feltz, 78, 1014 W. Brewster, Appleton, formerly of Shawano and Cecil, died Sunday evening, March 31, at Appleton. She had been seriously ill since Jan. 4 of this year. The former Catherine Bibelhausen, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Bibelhausen, was born Nov. 9, 1889 in Shawano, She lived in this Community all of her life up until Nov. when she went to make her home with her daughters. Her marriage to Ernest Feltz took place Feb. 3, 1909 at Shawano. He died Sept. 9, 1961. She was a member of Sacred Heart church. Survivors are 2 daughters, Esther, Mrs. Elwood Miller, Appleton, and Inez, Mrs. Kenneth Mosher, North Beach, Shawano. Also 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Mary, Mrs. Ray Beery, Shawano. Five sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Shawano and interment will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
Mrs. Elwood (Rose) Mitchell, 65, Rt. 2, Marion, died Monday afternoon, June 3 at Shawano. She had been ill for the past two years.
The former Rose B. Grimm was born Aug. 6, 1902, at Pella. She was
the daughter of Mrs. Bertha Grimm and the late Carl W. Grimm. Her marriage
to Elwood Mitchell took place on June 9, 1920. After their marriage they
came to Clintonville where they lived for 30 years. After Mr. Mitchell's
retirement the couple came to their present home on Rt. 2, Marion. Mrs.
Mitchell was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran church, Town of Pella.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Leola, Mrs.
Ronald Roland of New London, and Patricia, Mrs. Wilbert Zellmer, of Marion.
Also 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Frank Grimm
of Rt. 2, Marion and Lester Grimm of Pompano Beach, Florida, and her mother,
Mrs. Bertha Grimm of Pella. One son, Leo, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 PM at Bethlehem
Lutheran church, town of Pella. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
