Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1939 AUGUST AHLGRIMM DIES AT PELLA The deceased is survived by 3 sons, William, Paul, and Oscar, Pella; 3 daughters, Mrs. Fred Klitz, Mrs. Amelia Balke and Mrs. Henry Brei, Pella and 9 grandchildren. One son died in 1901. Mr. Ahlgrimm has been a farmer for many years in that vicinity and
was well known.
SHAWANO EVENING LEADER Saturday, Sept. 2, 1939 F. C. MAAS DIES THIS AM F.G. Maas, 80, died at the Shawano Municipal Hospital this morning from a lingering illness of 3 months. Mr. Maas was born in Germany on Jan. 4, 1859, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Maas. When he was 8 years old he came to this country with his parents and settled in the town of Pella, Shortly before his marriage to Amelia Nienke he lived in the town of Seneca. Mrs. Maas died. 18 years ago. Survivors are; John, Herman, Lother, and Edna, Mrs. Max Buckoski,
all of Tilleda; Hubert, White Lake; Alvin, Encinitas, Calif.; Harry, Caroline;
Art, Oshkosh; Irene, Mrs. Donald Buelter, Tilleda; Ervin, Tilleda. There
are 21 grandchildren living and one great-grandchild. Three children died
in infancy. Three brothers living in Tilleda, August, Richard and Henry.
A sister Bertha lives in Chicago and Minnie, Belvedere, Ill. and Lizzie,
Mrs. Henry Schumacher lives in Tilleda.
