Cedar Grove It was the home of
the late First Lady Letitia Christian Tyler, wife of our 10th president John Tyler. The
couple was married here at the plantation March 29, 1813; Mrs. Tyler is buried with some
of her children in the cemetery here. The Large Georgian Style brick home has been fully
restored. Most of the original plantation buildings are still in existence.
