The Franklin Chronicle Building

Three story building on Main Street in Rocky Mount, it was once called the  Early House (Jubal Early). It was the newspaper office for the "Franklin Chronicle", the building burned in 1944.

Franklin County High School

Rocky Mount, VA, 1930's picture, before all the additions. Ned Armstrong reports that this should be titled, Rocky Mount High School, ... and that Franklin County High School was built much later.
