 Bremo Slave Chapel   It is on the
     Virginia Landmarks  Register. The simple 
Gothic structure was constructed in 1835 as a slave chapel  on the Bremo 
Plantation. It is Virginia's only known slave chapel. About 1883,  it was moved to 
the village of Bremo Bluff.

    Point of Fork Where the James
River divides into the Fluvanna and Rivanna. Here was an important supply depot and arsenal of
the VA Government in 1781. Baron Von Steuben trained recruits here, for Green's army in the
south.
