Cowpasture River

Cowpasture River used as an early landmark by the surveyors for Augusta County, VA.  Now located in Bath County, VA. very near where Fort Lewis was located.  This area was the home of the Lewis Family and other early pioneers.

Green Bank Valley once Augusta County, VA now in Pocahontas County, WV.  This valley holds many early Landmarks used by surveyors such as Deer Creek, Thorny Creek, Clover Lick Creek, Greenbriar River. This valley once the home of many early Augusta Pioneers.
