BETTS, GEORGE M. 23 Aug 1838 17 Mar 1863 Son of William Spencer and Mary Faulkner Betts. Killed in battle at Kelly's Ford, VA during Civil War.

BETTS, WILLIAM SPENCER 17 Apr 1817 16 Oct 1901 First son of Elisha and Frances Marable Betts. Husband of Mary Faulkner Betts. Father of 14 children. Captain in Confederate Army, fought in battle of Staunton River Bridge.
JOHNSTON, ELIZABETH 13 Nov 1794 31 Dec 1853 Possible second wife of Spencer Betts. "In memory of our Mother Elizabeth Johnston, born Nov. 13th, 1794, died Dec. 31st, 1853.
OVERBEY, ELISHA BETTS 24 Jun 1855 18 Aug 1858 Son of Nancy Betts and Warren Overbey.
