BETTS, WILLIAM SPENCER 17 Apr 1817 16 Oct 1901 First son of Elisha and Frances Marable Betts. Husband of Mary Faulkner Betts. Father of 14 children. Captain in Confederate Army, fought in battle of Staunton River Bridge.
