Murray Cemetery
This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co and it is sometimes found spelled as Murry . To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take Hwy 36 to FM 1600 and turn left. Go to the intersection of FM 487 or from Rockdale, take FM 487 north and turn left. Cross the San Gabriel Bridge and go a couple of hundred yards past CR 235 and the cemetery will be on the right.
There is no fence and the burial grounds need cleaning. The original school in this area was called Pleasant Grove and was located just above the cemetery.
