Ellis County, Texas Archives

  The man on the left is my grandfather, James Fate Keeney.  Names of the other two men are unknown.
I am trying to find information about my grandfather. 
I do know he was in Ellis Co. from about 1893 to 1899, he then came to Erath Co. Texas.
Maybe someone will recognize the two men & give me some leads to where my grandfather was before 1893.
