Head of Elm is the oldest cemetery in Saint Jo, Texas. Final resting place for numerous early pioneers. Many of the earlier headstones no longer exist. Early area settlers: Aaron Anderson, James Box, James Harris, Enogh Willett & his daughter Mary were killed in Indian raids & tradition says they are buried here.
