My mother's family came from Roane and Loudon Counties, Tennessee. Most of the older family members are buried in Fooshee's Cemetery and Paintrock Cemetery. Mary Florence is buried at Tennessee Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery just between Fooshee's and Paintrock. I have the Miller's back to 1765. The Campbell's back to 1814. The Cooley's back to 1788. All these family's were raised in the Paintrock area. Some moved to Lenoir City, Tennessee and some went to Cleveland, Tennessee and everywhere in between.
