We, Daniel W. Burgner and Phillip Cooter, bind ourselves, our heirs, &c, to the State of Tennessee, in the sum of twelve hundred and fifty dollars; lawful money of said state, but to be void, on condition that there is no lawful cause to obstruct the marriage of said Daniel W. Burgner to Elizabeth C. Parman, of said county. Witness, our hands and seals, this 3rd day of December, 1859

To any authorized Minister, or Justice of the Peace:

You are hereby authorized and empowered to solemnize the rites of matrimony between Daniel W. Burgner and Elizabeth C. Parman of said county; and the time of such marriage, with your name signed officially thereto, you shall endorse on the back of this license; and return the same to my office within six months thereafter. Witness my hand, at office in Greeneville, this 3rd day of December, 1859
