Know all men by these presents that we, Giles Parman and Zepheriah Woolsey, of Greene, &c our heirs &c are bound unto John Sevier, Governor, and to his successors in office, in the sum of twelve hundred and fifty dollars, to be void on condition of there be no just cause or lawful impediment to obstruct the marriage of Giles Parman and Phoebe Woolsey.
