  Franklin News Herald, Venango County, Pennsylvania, August 29, 1970

  Mrs. Mitzi M. Duncombe, 36, of Franklin RD 3, wife of Kenneth D. Duncombe, 
  died at 10 p.m. Friday in the Franklin Hospital where she had been admitted on 
  Aug. 26.  She had been in ill health for the past two months.  
  
  A daughter of Michael Scott Mihleder and Susan Borger Mihleder, she was born 
  in Franklin on March 22, 1934.  She had lived the greater part of her life in 
  Rocky Grove and Franklin, attended the public schools here and was graduated 
  from Rocky Grove High School in 1952.  
  
  Mrs. Duncombe was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the TOPS 
  club.  
  
  She was married to Kenneth D. Duncombe on Dec. 24, 1963.  He survives along 
  with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Scott Mihleder, Rocky Grove; six 
  children, Teresa A. Rugh, 17, Laurie Rugh, 15, Eugene L. Rugh, 8; all of 
  Franklin; three step-children, David A. and Michael C. Duncombe, both of 
  Franklin; and Kenneth A. Duncombe, Oxford Mich.; one brother Michael S. 
  Mihleder Jr., Beaver; one sister; Mrs. Dennis D. (Trudy) Eddinger, Salem, 
  Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.  
  
  Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel at any time after 7 p.m. today.  
  The members of the family will receive their friends from 7 to 9 a.m. today 
  and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.  
  
  Funeral services will be conducted in the Huff Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday with 
  the Rev. Lloyd S. Sturtz, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, 
  officiating.  Interment will be made in the Lupher Chapel Cemetery.  
  
  
  Additional Comments:
  Mitzi Marion Mihleder was the daughter of Michael Scott Mihleder and Susan 
  Elizabeth Borger Mihleder, both lifelong residents of Franklin.  Mitzi was 
  first married to Eugene LeRoy Rugh.  They were later divorced and she married 
  Kenneth Duncombe.  For some reason the names of all their children were not in 
  the obituary.  They include:  Teresa Ann Rugh Flick, Laurie Jean Rugh Murray, 
  Eugene LeRoy Rugh, Jr., Karen Sue Rugh Beggs, William Scott Rugh, and Larry
