and belief, and that he knows of no reason why this marriage may not be 
lawfully made.

COUNTY OF HUNTINGDON
To any Minister of the Gospel, Justice of the Peace, or other officers or 
persons authorized by law to solemnize marriage: 
     Legal evidence having been furnished to me in accordance with the Act of 
Assembly approved the twenty-third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and 
eighty-five, you are hereby authorized to join together in the  holy state of 
Matrimony, according to the rites and ceremonies of your church, society or 
religious denomination and the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, 
        Amon A. Curfman    and   _______________________ 
	GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND THE SEAL OF THE ORPHANS’ COURT of said County 
of Huntingdon, at Huntingdon, this 27th day of August A. D. 1896

And the said Alice O. Grissinger being a minor, the consent of the father of 
the said minor to the contemplated marriage was first given before said Clerk 
(by legal certificate), filed and duly signed, attested and duly acknowledged.
