Miss Sarah H. Moreland No 410 N. Pittsburg St Connellsville Pa Sept 10, 1924

      Miss Moreland says her grandfather, George Clark Blocher died in Bullskin 
Tp of typhoid fever aged abt 27 yrs & was buried on the farm & removed to Hill 
Grove Cem where his widow nee Ann Boyd who survived until she was 82 yrs old is 
buried.  She died in Sept or Oct 1900.  They had but two children both born on 
the farm in Bullskin Tp.  The farm was known as Brotherhood farm.

2. George Clark Blocher born 1848?
1. Eliza Boyd Blocher was married in Bullskin Tp Jany 1, 1872 to Daniel Rogers 
Moreland who was born Mch 17, 1844 in Dunbar Tp & died Sept 3, 1906.  She died 
Dec 3, 1907, both buried in Hill Grove Cem here.  He was son of John Moreland & 
his wife Priscilla Rogers.  They had seven children all born on the farm & of 
whom five survive as follows:
     1. George John Moreland born Jany 6, 1873 & died Aug 29, 1873
     2. Anna Priscilla Moreland (born Oct 21, 1874 & died Oct 20, 1880)
     Both named for their grandparents
     3. Henry Lazier Moreland born Mch 8, 1877
     4. Lewis Hunter Moreland born June 29, 1879
     5. Sarah Hunter Moreland born Nov 26, 1881
     6. Stella Blanche Moreland born Aug 5, 1886
     7. Charles Eugene Moreland born July 29, 1889

3. Henry L. was married Sept 2, 1906 to Bertha Zilliken born in Wellsburg WVA 
in 1884.  They have but one child:
           I. Daniel Rogers Moreland born Sept 2, 1907
4. Lewis H. was married Apr 10, 1924 to Mrs Rixie May Brown who had divorced 
her first husband George Brown & who is daughter of Robert W.  Brownfield & his 
wife Laura Collier.  They are living at 25 Maple ST Uniontown Pa.  He is sale 
mgr for Shff Adams Central Auto Co
5. Sarah H. is unmarried & is teaching in the Connellsville Public School. Has 
been teaching 19 yrs
6. Stella B. is unmarried & is a registered nurse, employed by the H.C.  Frick 
Coke Co C'ville Pa
     7. Charles Eugene was married
Dec 1918 to Nan Wright.  Both living in Brownsville Pa where he is coal 
inspector for the Monongahela RR.  No issue.

2. Geo C. Blocher was married 1st to Elsie Hickman dau of Rev Wm W. Hickman & 
his wife      Eccles. Elsie died, see tombstone in Oak Grove Cem or learn from 
her sister Mrs Frank M. Bowie, N.P. Cooper or Mrs S.W. Hickman.  They had four 
children:
I. Mary, died of diptheria abt 1880 & she & Clarence are likely buried at old 
Pennsoil Baptist Ch
      II. Clarence died
      III. William W. died
      IV. Donald died
      Last two buried in Oak Grove Cem at Uniontown Pa. Get record
m. 2. abt 1904 married Miss Dollie McGee from Ohio & he died in 1907 in 
December abt a week before Christmas. 
She has not remarried but is still living in the State of Calif.

Miss Moreland says Joseph Barnett of Joseph & Mary see page 147 died at the 
Wyman Hotel here & thinks was taken to Dayton O for burial.  Says his son used 
to come here about once a year to see.  This evidently is the one surviving 
child John Stewart Barnett.  Joseph, the father was blind.
Miss M. says her relative Louise Blackstone, daughter of James Blackstone was 
here last night & is the wife of Wm K. Hoffman & they live at 82 High St 
Morgantown WVA.
