Item 1st I devise and bequeath to my son Merrit C. Gray and his heirs the old homestead situated in Middleburg Tp County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and containing 41 acres of land in two parcels. Six acres on the west side of the road & thirty five acres on the east side of the road on which the house & outbuildings stand, and all the stock, household goods, furniture, provisions and other goods & chattels which may be therein at the time of my decease, to have and to hold during his natural life. If my said son Merrit C. Gray die without an heir then the above described property to revert to the balance of my children and their heirs to be equally divided between them. Item 2d I give and bequeath to my two sons Wilbur Gray & Arthur Gray & to my two daughters Helen Brooks & Emma Baker the following property to be equally divided between them. 1st 25 acres of land known as the Joe Peak farm 2d 12 ? acres of land more or less and known as the Po' place and 3rd 17 acres of land known as the Alexander farm; all situated in the Tp of Middleburg & joining the homestead. Item 3d I give and bequeath to my two daughters Laverna Reinhart & Mabel King three hundred dollars ($300.00) each in cash. Item 4th I devise & bequeath to my two sons John M. Gray & Albert Gray & my daughter Almeda Wooldridge the following real estate situated in Blissfield Tp. County of Lenawee & State of Mich., containing forty (40) acres of land and known as the Wilcox farm to be equally divided between them. Item 5th All money & credits remaining after the above distribution is made (and all of my honest debts have been paid) shall be equally divided between my five sons and five daughters.
