The Albany Herald - Obituaries
Donald L. Wells

ALBANY — Donald L. Wells, 13681 Hwy. 93, Baconton, died Friday, January 10, 
2003, at Mitchell County Hospital.

The remains have been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Galesburg, Ill., Mr. Wells had lived in Baconton for the past 13 years. 
He was retired from J.L. Clark as a proofreader. He was a U.S. Army veteran of 
World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Doreen Wells of Baconton; son, Ronald Wells of 
Minn.; daughters, Carol Little and her husband, Mak of Baconton, Theresa Akon 
of Minn., and Donna Dilillo of Illinois; sister, Lucille Smith and Barbara 
Wells, both of Illinois; brothers, Fred Rice of Albany, Gean Wells of Albany 
and Dicky Peterson of Illinois; nine grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.

Those desiring please make memorials to the American Parkinson Disease 
Association, c/o Emory University School of Medicine, 1841 Clifton Road, N.E., 
Rm. 326, Atlanta, GA 30329.
