Date of Birth: March 14, 1914  
Date of Death: November 22, 2003 

A native of Dooly County, Mrs. Walker was born on March 14, 1914 to the late 
Matthew Patrick Butler and Ellie Wells Butler. A graduate of Byromville High 
School, she was the valedictorian of her class and later went on to teach for a 
number of years in Dooly County and Gray, GA. Mrs. Walker was a member of the 
First Baptist Church of Albany and the Dorcus Sunday School Class. She also 
taught in the children and youth departments for a number of years. Mrs. Walker 
was a member of the Richard Dale Chapter of the Daughters of the American 
Revolution where she held several offices and served on several committees. At 
one time she was a representative of the chapter to the National Convention in 
Washington DC. She is preceded in death by her brother, A.P. Butler of 
Byromville. 

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Crown Hill Mausoleum with 
Dr. James M. Ramsey officiating.
