Lanez Mock, 83, of Baconton, GA, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at her home 
following an illness. Her funeral service will be TUESDAY 10 AM at St. Teresa’s 
Catholic Church with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. 
Finbarr Stanton will officiate. 

A native of Helena, GA, Mrs. Mock moved to Albany in August 1946 when she 
transferred with C & S Bank. She continued to work at C & S Bank until her 
retirement in January 1974. 

Mrs. Mock was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Following her 
retirement, she was an active volunteer with the many charitable outreach 
projects at St. Teresa’s for many years. She was preceded in death by her 
husbands: J. B. Holley, Jr. and Ray S. Mock, Sr., and by a son: James H. Mock. 
Survivors include her daughters: Dayle Morris, Baconton, Molly Griffin and her 
husband Ben, Centreville, MS, Kathy Mullen and her husband Moon, Salem, NH, 
Harriett Elkins and her husband Randy, Columbus, GA; her sons: Donald J. Holley 
and his wife Donna, Duluth, GA, Ray S. Mock, Jr. and his wife La’Ne, 
Lawrenceville, GA, Charles O. Mock and his wife Lyndra, Tifton, Robert L. Mock 
and his wife Geri, Riverdale, GA, Daniel J. Mock, Headland, AL, Richard H. Mock 
and his wife Lelia, Leesburg, GA; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a 
brother: Phillip Smith and his wife Zona, Marietta,; a sister: Ouida Andel, Ft. 
Valley. A prayer service will recited at Kimbrell-Stern on Monday at 6 PM with 
visitation to follow till 8 PM.

Ln., Albany, GA 31707, or to Vision Covenant Fellowship, 182 Railroad Ave., NE, 
Baconton, GA 31716.
