"Last Rites Set for Mrs. White"

The funeral service of Mrs. W. Raleigh White, 501 N. Jackson St., who died Tuesday
while visiting a daughter in Columbus, will be conducted Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
at Kimbrell - Stern Funeral Directors, by the Rev. Perry F. Webb, Jr., pastor of
the First Baptist Church, and Dr. Leonard A. Stephens, pastor of Central Baptist
Church. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. White, the former Miss Elnora Rowe, was born in Denbeigh, VA the daughter
of Elizabeth Malicott and Thomas Rowe. Her husband was the late Dr. W. Raleigh
White, who prior to his death Dec 29, 1942, was pastor of the First Baptist
Church. Mrs. White had been a resident of Albany for the last 35 years and was a
member of the First Baptist Church. 
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. M. Hawley of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. I. 
A. Hogge of Newport News, VA; two granddaughters, Mrs. Harold E. Gray of Lemorre, 
CA, and Mrs. C. W. Folk of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
