SEAMAN KILLED BY FALL
Peter Anderson, a seaman on the steamer Edison Light, was killed at midnight 
Thursday night when he fell down a hatch on the steamer, which was bound from 
Boston to Norfolk. The body was brought to Sewalls Point yesterday and turned over 
to Undertaker H. C. Smith, after Coroner K. Q. Backus gave a certificate of 
accidental death. The funeral will be held sometime today at Smith’s funeral 
apartments, 306 Bank street. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.

He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery.
