Herman Warren
Herman Randolph Warren, 60, of 1204 West Point Drive, a native of
Southampton County, died Tuesday in a hospital. He was the son of the late
Walter Roy Warren and Hattie Pearl Smith Warren.
Warren had retired as the manager of Chesapeake Ready Mix Corp. He was a
member of Bayside Ruritan Club. He had served in the Army during World War
II.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Merrill Warren; a daughter, Cythia W.
Dunkley of Chesapeake; two sons, Walter Gary Warren and Richard Allen Warren,
both of Chesapeake; a brother, N. Kelton Warren of Suffolk; and six
grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral
Home by the Rev. O.R. Hardy. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association.

He has a flat military gravestone, and shares an upright monument with his
nephew Kelton Randall "Randy" WARREN (1952 - 2000). Randy's parents are
also buried there.
