MRS. HOLLAND 

  Mrs. Texanna C. Holland, aged 70, wife of the late E. Smith Holland, died 
at the family residence near Holland, Va., Sunday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock. 

  She is survived by a daughter, Miss Clara M. Holland, and a son, W.E. 
Holland, both living near Holland, a sister, Mrs. Otelia Holland, of Holland; 
a brother, J.T. Holland, of Driver, two half-brothers, L.O. Holland, of 
Suffolk, and H.K. Holland, of Holland; four grandchildren and several nieces 
and nephews. 

  Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the 
residence by Dr. N.G. Newman and Dr. W.M. Jay.  Burial will be made in the 
family cemetery.

MORTUARY 

MRS. TEXANNA C. HOLLAND 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Texanna C. Holland were held Tuesday afternoon at 
3 o'clock at the residence near Holland, conducted by Dr. N.G. Newman and Dr. 
W.M. Jay. 

  A quartet composed by Dr. W.M. Jay, W.W. Darden, G.D. Underwood and Vernon 
Holland, accompanied by Mrs. Vernon Holland, sang several selections.  A duet 
was sung by W.W. Darden and Mrs. S.L. Wright. 

  There were many beautiful floral tributes.  The casket was covered with a 
pall of Easter lilies and fern. 

  Active pallbearers were: V.E. Holland, Paul C. Holland, Jr., E.J. Norfleet, 
B.W. Councill, J.H. Holland, H.L. Worrell, T.T. Tomlin, J.O. Davidson. 
Friends of the family were honorary pallbearers.  Interment was made in the 
family [cemetery] near Holland, Va.
