Funeral For Leroy Skeeter At Smithfield
SMITHFIELD - Funeral services for Leroy Skeeter will be conducted Friday at
2 p.m. in the Bullock Funeral Home by the RevClaude Roberts. Burial will be
in St. Luke's Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Skeeter, 84, retired oysterman, died in his home in Rescue Wednesday
after a long illness. He was a Portsmouth native and lived in Rescue 75
years.
He was a member of the Society of Friends.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Isabel Marshall Skeeter; a daughter, Mrs.
Gladys Smith of Rescue; two sons, Edison R. Skeeter of Rescue and Casper C.
Skeeter of Smithfield; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
