Mary Viola Smith, 85, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, in Graham. Funeral services
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at First Baptist Church with the Rev.
James C. Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the
direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Young County where she was a lifetime
resident. She was a retired cattle cancher and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Smith, in 1968, and a sister,
Nadine Clifton.

She is survived by a son, Ken Smith and wife Cheryl of Wichita Falls; a
daughter, Denise Grace and husband Bob of Los Alamos, N.M.; two sisters, Colene
Schlittler and Kathleen Kramer, both of Graham; four grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
