ODESSA -- Longtime Odessa resident Vivian Ray Nail died Saturday,
Sept. 25, 1999, following a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William F. Nail.
She is survived by her sons, the Hon. William F. Nail Jr., a federal
judge in Albuquerque, N.M.; Charles E. Nail, an administrator for

the Medical Center Auxiliary, were active volunteers for Belmont
Baptist Church and strong supporters of the Door of Hope Mission.
Vivian was also a longtime member of the Floyd Easterling Chapter of
the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed bowling and travelling, but
loved more than anything else presiding over gatherings of her family
