  LAWRENCE KURTZ
  
    Lawrence Kurtz, 74, Confluence, died Jan. 25 in Uniontown Hospital.
    He was born Nov. 22, 1901, in Confluence, a son of the late Harvey
  and Ella (Morrison) Kurtz.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Brackemeyer, three
  daughters: Mrs. Barbara Tussing of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Blanche Hildreth
  of Ithica, N.Y. and Mrs. Martha Ringer of Santa Barbara, Calif., also
  nine grandchildren.
    He was a merchant in Confluence for many years.
    Services were held Jan. 27 with the Rev. McCurtis Allison
  officiating.  Interment in the Baptist Cemetery in charge of Humbert
  Funeral Home.
