WILLIAM FEHRENBACH, Prominent Young Man Succumbs to Fever
Entered into rest Wednesday evening, William Fehrenbach, aged 18
years and five months, at the family residence, No. 115 Home Street.
This announcement will be received with sorrow by the numerous
acquaintances of the deceased, scattered all over the city.
The departed was a model young man, kind and affectionate in home
life, and his demise is a sad blow to the members of the family. He was
an active member of St. Joseph's German Catholic Church and was
prominent in church society work. He was a member of the Young Men's
Catholic Institute and the Catholic Total Abstalnance Union of America.
His mother died in January and the son now follows her to the grave
in less than six months time.
William Fehrenbach was born in this city in the year 1882. He grew
up a bright youth and received his education in St. Joseph's school.
About 18 months ago he accepted a position in the grocery store of John
B. Berger & Son on Washington Street. Five weeks ago he took ill with
typhoid fever and was given the best care and attention but grew
gradually worse until the end came, and the sleep of death relieved him
from all earthly suffering. Besides his father, the departed leaves the

Gabriel of the Order of Divine Providence, all of Pittsburg; Mrs. Louisa

MRS. ALBERT FEHRENBACH

Mrs. Albert Fehrenbach (Stella Brinkley Fehrenbach), a well-known
resident of the sixth ward, died at her home, 28 Bluff street, at 11:30
o'clock Monday evening, death being due to hemorrhages. On Sunday Mrs.
Fehrenbach gave birth to twin boys. The two babes thus deprived at the
beginning of their lives of a mother's care and tenderness, are
apparently robust little fellows and are getting along all right.
Mrs. Fehrenbach was just 21 years of age and was married about a
year ago. She was the daughter of James Bigley (Brinkley) of Clarion
county. She came to New Castle after her marriage and during the period
of her residence in this city she made many friends and won the esteem
of all who knew her.
Shortly after coming to New Castle, she identified herself with St.
Joseph's church. Her beautiful christian character and sweet, amiable
disposition endeared her to all who came in contact with her and deep
regret is felt by her acquaintances that she was so soon called away
from her husband and little babes.
Besides her husband and two sons, she leaves to mourn her death her
parents, three brothers; John, Allishius and George Bigley (Brinkley) of
Clarion and two sisters, Mrs. Andy Fehrenbach of this city and Miss
Maggie Bigley (Brinkley) of Clarion.
    Funeral announcement later by McGonigle.

nicely and there seemed a reason for hope that they would live to
maturity, but it was not to be. Wilbert sickened and died less than two
weeks ago, and the other babe joined its brother Wednesday night, as
stated above.
