Following a long illness, Mrs. Anna LAWRENCE, aged 61 years, 
three months and five days, died Sunday morning at 11:45 o'clock in the home 
of her son, Ira LAWRENCE of Fourth street. She was the widow of James H. 
LAWRENCE, who died 12 years ago, and was a daughter of the late William and 
Sarah MORGAN HERRIOTT and was born in Mount Pleasant township. She leaves 
two sons and a daughter, Ira, at whose home she died; Clair, at Vancouver, 
Washington, and Marry, living in McDonald; and five brothers and three 
sisters: James HERRIOTT, Oakdale, Howard, Mount Pleasant township, and Mrs. 
D. M. LEWIS, Sistersville, W. Va.
 
Mrs. LAWRENCE was a member of the Chartiers United Presbyterian 
church. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the 
Venice United Presbyterian church, the old home church of the HERRIOTT 
family. Interment was in the cemetery at Venice.
