Death of Mrs. James Lawrence

Irishtown, Oct. 19. – Mrs. James Lawrence died at her home here last Monday 
morning after an illness of several months from a complication of diseases, aged 
about 70 years.

Her husband died about four years ago.  Surviving her are the following 
children:  Mrs. Edward Hemler, Eugene Lawrence, and Stanislaus Lawrence, of 
Irishtown; Mrs. William Losman, McSherrystown; Fabian Lawrence, Edgegrove; Mrs. 
Annie Lawrence, near New Oxford; Harry Lawrence, and Miss Emma Lawrence, of 
Tennessee; Rev. Jerome Lawrence, of Florida, and Miss Isabelle Lawrence, at 
home.  She is also survived by a sister, Miss Emma Hart, McSherrytown, and one 
brother, James Hart in the West.
