                THREE REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIERS
                Buried in Hamilton County, Ohio

FRANCIS KENNEDY, SR. b. 1746, Bedford Co., Pa. His parents of Scotch-Irish
ancestry came to Pa. Francis m. Rebecca ____?. Her family were Welsh
Quakers. Rebecca was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in
Cincinnati. Francis gave a donation to this church in 1789. Francis d.
1796. He drowned in the Ohio River while ferrying cattle across from
Cincinnati to Covington, Ky. His brother lived in Covington. His body was
recovered and buried in the presbyterian church yard, and was never moved
when the church was enlarged. Rebecca kennedy, wife of Francis, is buried
at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on lot of their daughter, Rebecca Kennedy Reeder.

SAMUEL BONNELL b. 2-10-1755, N.J.; d. 1816, Cincinnati, Ohio. Buried
Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was with 10
others in the cabin of a ferry boat crossing from New York. The mother of
Samuel was Rachel Van Winkle b. 12-17-1727?. Benjamin & Rachel had six sons
who served in the Revolution from N.J. Samuel m. Elizabeth (Betsey) Crane.
They had among others:
        LYDIA b. 7-20-1791; d. 18--?; m. Samuel Maxwell frazee b.
7-29-1790; d. 11-3-1829. They had and possibly others:
        SARAH FRAZEE b. 11-16-1814 at Sharpsburg, Hamilton County, Ohio
(now called Norwood). She m. James White 8-22-1833. He died 9-9-1838. She
m. 2nd 8-20-1850, Benjamin Kennedy. She d. 3-12-1903.

                THE FULTON CEMETERY
                CINCINNATI
This cemetery was in the village of Hyde Park, now part of Cincinnati. It
was abandoned long ago and has been destroyed. It was formerly on Madison
Road where it joins Erie Avenue. There were three cemeteries int he area
called "Fulton Graveyard." About 1906 the following stones were legible.

The first settlement was first known as Salem and as Mears; today it is
part of Mount Washington. The Mears brothers, Thomas and John came from
London, England to Cincinnati. Thomas married Polly, daughter of Rev.
McCormick. Rev. Francis McCormick migrated to Kentucky in 1895 and later to
Ohio. He moved to Salem in 1806 from Milford. he was born in Frederick Co.,
Va.

      on a road between his own and his brother's house.

1822, Jan. 1 - About 20 years ago, a certain WILLIAM EATON, who was married
      to REBECCA McCANN, my parents, moved from the Blue Ridge in Virginia,
      in or near Louden County to the westward, and are no doubt somewhere
      in Kentucky, Indiana or Ohio. At the time they left Virginia they had
      three children, myself and two younger brothers named Samuel and
 John. I was bound to a certain  JAMES ROSE, with whom I remained
      until I was of age. Any information of them sent to me at Dayton will

1832, Dec. 11 - DIED, MAJOR GEORGE ADAMS, one of the pioneers of Ohio,
      at this residence near Greenville, Darke County, Ohio on the 28th
      of November. he formerly resided in Alexandersville, Montgomery
      County. He was in Harmer's & St. Clair's Campaigns, in the first
      of which, he was almost shot to pieces. he has recorded in his Bible
      his various personal adventures.
