12th March 1829 GARDNER LAWRENCE and MARIA his wife of Marcellus sold to ABNER MAYNARD 
and JOHN EGGLESTON JUNIOR for $550  part of Lot 23 in Marcellus bounded by land formerly owned 
by JOSEPH TAYLOR and now by ISRAEL CURTIS, land owned by SAMUEL WOOD. 'It is understood 
there is a Mortgage on said premises given to ZEBINA MOSES on which there is due $175 which the said 
parties of the second part assume the payment of as being part of the purchase price." Signed GARDNER
