Death: Thursday, 9 November 1989 Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi 
as the result of an automobile accident.
Last Residence: Oxford, MS.
Burial:  Sunday, 12 November in Oxford Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors: Husband, one son, her parents, one sister, two brothers and her 
grandparents. 
Facts: Special education teacher for Transitional Skills Program at North 
Mississippi Mental Retardation Center.  Graduate of Mississippi State 
University (bachelor’s degree) and the University of Mississippi (master’s 
degree).  Member of the AAMR and the WMU.  Member of the North Oxford Baptist 
Church.  Volunteer with the Honduran Medical and Dental Mission in Honduras on 
four occasions.  Outstanding Young Woman in America.
