Will written 28 July 1843, probated 21 April 1847 Witnesses:  W. A. Larsh
and John L. Yantis Heirs: Wife: Mary B. Simpson My two grandchildren,
William Miller Baker, son of my daughter, Emila Jane, dec’d., and Mary
Frances Bayless, daughter of my dec’d daughter Margaret Ann. They are to
inherit when become of age. Brother David Simpson never to inherit.
Fathers of my grandchildren not to inherit. If my wife should die before
William Miller Baker becomes 21, then he is to live with Allen Anderson,
if living.

Page 133 William Simpson, Codicil to will written 26 October 1846,
probated 18 May 1847. Witnesses: J. M. Warren, W. W. Warren and B. L.
Dinwiddle. Heirs: My grandson, William Miller Baker to have all the
household furniture and equipment at death of my wife.
