Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** The subject of the following is a native of Greenborough county, West Virginia, where he was reared and educated. In 1866 he came to Missouri and settled in Lafayette county, where he has since resided, engaged in farming and trading, in which occupations he has been unusually success- ful. In 1877 he led to the marriage altar Miss Martha E. Hill, of Lafayette county. By this marriage they have two children. Mrs. Fox has three children by her former husband. Mr. Fox is a member of the A. F. & A. M.
