This index was prepared by the Huron Shores Genealogical Society. The

and publication were done by Alonzo J Sherman. There are about 3,140
names in this index.

The Original Book is titled: Criminal Docket 1880-1901 Baldwin

been torn out), located in the Iosco County Historical Society, 405 W
Bay St (US-23), East Tawas MI 48730, 989-362-8911. Also included in
the document are many cases by the Justice of the Peace for the
Village of East Tawas: It appears these were written in this docket
where space existed below the cases that had previously written by the
Baldwin township Justices. Pages 201-206 have been torn out of this
docket. Pages 327-328 and 330-454 were not used.
This docket describes the legal procedures of the cases, but is not a
transcript of the proceedings or trial. Persons mention in this docket
could have lived anywhere in Iosco County, not just in Baldwin
Township. Several case were bound over to the Circuit court, for more
information about these write directly to the County Clerk, Iosco
County, 422 E Lake St (US-23), Tawas City MI 48764, 989-362-3497,
