Belding Banner-News - Thurs. October 21, 1965

                     Robert Geister

Funeral services for Robert Geister, age 77, who died  October 19, will be held 
Friday at 2 p.m., at Huffman Funeral Home with Elder Clarence E.Larsen of 
Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating.Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Len Brown, Clayton Smith, Hubert Belding, Lawrence Belding, 
James Gale and Clarence Geister.

Mr. Geister had been ill for about two yers and his home address was 522 Crooks 
Ave., and he had lived in Belding for the past 20 years.

Born in Alger, Michigan, December 18,1887. Mr. Geister was retired from Grand 
Rapids Brass Co., and at one time had been an employee of the city of Belding.

His survivors include four daughters, Mrs.Ted (Beatrice) Chrysler, Flint, 
Mrs.Vernon (Edith) Thatcher, Coral, Mrs.Delores Anstett, Belding, Mrs.Richard 
(Joyce) Olsen, Greenville; six sons, Carl Geister, Blue Eye,MO., Henry Geister, 
Ionia, Harmon, Richard, Earl Geister, all of Belding, Robert Geister, 
Greenville; one sister, Mrs.Mary Raymer, Belding; a half-brother, William 
Steward, Omer,Mich.; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
