Ionia Shopper's Guide - September 16, 2023

              ERRIDGE

Karen Dorothy Erridge, age 84, of Saranac passed away on September 12, 2023. She 
was born in Augusta township, Michigan the daughter of Thomas and  Dorothy 
(Ranson) Beckington on September 30, 1938.

Karen grew up in Saline on the family dairy farm.She loved horses, camping and 
was an avid and accomplished painter.

Karen married Donald Lee Davis on March 22, 1958, he preceded her in death in 
1983. She then married Ronald Erridge on March 8, 1986; he preceded her in  
death on December 2, 2013.

Karen is survived by her Children; Mike (Maria)Davis of Cedar Springs,Brian 
(Patty) Davis of Ionia and Diane (Matt) Smith of Lowell. Step-children; Lorrie 
(Tim) Thompson of Lansing, Ronda (Steve) Bestrom of Ionia, Tracy (Tom) 
McClintock of Ionia and Jeff (Janine) Erridge of Ionia. Sisters; Sandy (Doug) 
McKenzie of Tecumseh and Carla (Mike) Shepherd of Jackson,. Brother; 
Kevin(Carol) Beckington of Ann Arbor, 7 grandchildren, 8 step-children,6 great-
grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was 
preceded in death by her parents; husbands Donald and Ronald; Step-daughters 
Kelly Rowley; and step-grandson Alex Brown.

Funeral services for Karen will be at the Lake Funeral Home, 3521 S. State Rd., 
Ionia on Tuesday, September 19th at Noon. Visitation will be on the day of 
service from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home 

Interment will take place at Arborcrest cemetery, in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, 
September 20th at Noon. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia 
Commission on Aging. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com.
