Zachariah G. Smith

  Zachariah B. Smith, formerly of Woodsboro, but for the past twenty years a 
resident of York, Pa., died at the West side Osteopathic Hospital, at York, on 
Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock of general debility, aged 77 years, two 
months and four days.  His wife predeceased him by nine years.  He is survived 
by the following children:  Norman A., Harvey R., and Allen Reese Smith, all of 
York, and Mrs. Maurice Donsife, of Woodsboro.  Eight grandchildren and eight 
great grandchildren also survive.  He was a member of Grace Lutheran church, 
near Woodsboro.
  The body is at the home of his son, Normarn Smith, 1021 West Locust St., 
York, and funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at 
Grace church, conducted by Rev. J. Frank Fife, of Baltimore.  Interment will be 
in adjoining cemetery.  Powell and Hartzler, funeral directors.
