7:50 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until
funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel in Houma. Mass will be at
11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales
Cemetery No. 2 in Houma. She is survived by one sister, Ruby C. Fields; two
nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur
Fields and Josephine Rogers Fields; four brothers, Magnus Fields Sr., Cyril
Fields, Earl Fields Sr. and Lawrence Fields; and two sisters, Aline Boyne
and Beulah Fields. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church in
Houma.

Dominique Dardar, 91, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Island
Road - Pointe aux Chene, died at 8:35 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. today until funeral time Monday at 345
Island Road in Pointe aux Chene. Religious services will be at 11 a.m.
Monday in Pointe aux Chene, with burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma. He is
survived by his wife, Leodilla Naquin Dardar; six sons, Gillis Sr., Levis,
Edison, Dominique Jr., Jessie and Tommy Dardar; seven daughters, O
xcelia
Naquin, Ann Mitchell, Bernadette Dardar, Norma Chaisson, Delina Guidry,
Betty Dardar and Carmen LeBouef; 51 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Drozin and Marie Naquin Dardar; one son, Leroy Dardar; one brother, Jachin
Dardar; one sister, Eva Dardar; seven grandchildren and one great-

Charpentier of Houston, Texas; and one god child. She was preceded in death
by her grandparents, Quentin and Vivian Mistich Hays Sr. She was a student
at Louisiana State University. She achieved Sophomore's Honor Distinction,
was treasurer of Human Resources Society, named to the Dean's List,

recipient of L.S.U. Honor Scholarship and a graduate of H.L. Bourgeois with
honors. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

parents, Kenneth P. and Joyce Voclain Blanchard of Bayou Blue; two

his maternal grandmother, Eula Voclain of Houma; and four nieces. He was

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Devota "Dee" Broussard Pye of Pensacola;
two sons, Richard and John Pye, both of Valdosta, Ga.; six daughters, Jan
Caruso, JoAnn Songe, and Grace Hawkins, all of Pensacola, Helen Toups of
Rochester, N.Y., Diane Roche of Baton Rouge, and Louise Pertuit of Longview,
Texas; one sister, Shirley Guidroz of Houma; 21 grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Celine Pye; one daughter
Frances Pye; three sisters, Helen, Hallie, and Rosalie Pye; and one
granddaughter, Angelique Roche.
He served during WW II as a Master Sergeant in the Army Air Corps and was the
owner/operator of Pye's Hot Tamales in Houma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Elusia Terrebonne
Collins; one sister, Fredia Collins Cheramie; and eight brothers, Levy, Aramise,
Hennesey, Freddie, Theodore, Randolph, Jesty and B.J. Collins.
He was a long time employee of Texaco and later was an independent consultant
working in supervisory positions in the drilling industry in North America,
South America, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, West Africa and North Africa.
He was in the first graduating class of Golden Meadow High School in 1934 and
attended Louisiana State University.
For the last 15 years much of his time was spent fishing from his incredibly
productive pier in Caminada Bay where he also watched and catalogued Atlantic
bottle-nosed dolphins.

He also worked with student councils, the Civitans and in Scouting and served in
the U.S. National Guard.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
