Arvis James Lambert died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2005, at North Oaks
Medical Center in Hammond. He was 81, a native of Spring Creek and a
resident of Kentwood. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday. Religious
service at Spring Creek Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by
the Rev. Danny Smith. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery. He is survived by
his wife, Mattie Bridges Lambert, Kentwood; two sons, Mikel E. Lambert and
Marlin S. Lambert, both of Kentwood; two daughters, Colleen L. Strickland,
Osyka, Miss., and Orene L. Lea, Kentwood; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-
grandchildren and two sisters, Velma L. Mixon, Denham Springs, and Nadine
L. Bridges, Kentwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and
Annie Lambert; and sister, Eva L. Dykes. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of
World War II and was honorably discharged Jan. 31, 1946. He was a member
and deacon of Spring Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Senior
Citizen Choir. He was a retired grocery salesman and retired from W.E.
Dykes Feed Co. Pallbearers will be Mikel Lambert, Mark Lambert, Matthew
Lambert, Joe Bass, Phillip Strickland and Byron Bullock. Honorary
pallbearers are Randy Fairburn, David Thompson, Dean Martin and Andy
Childress.

Lambert and his wife, Donna, Pearl River, and Kennith Fred Lambert and his 
wife, Dawn; brother, Aubrey "Elwood" Faust, Brookhaven; 14 grandchildren 
and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Harrell H. 
Lambert; parents, Leo and Abline Chavers Faust; brother, Wade Faust; 
sister, Altie Faust Bennett; two grandsons, Troy Lanis Lambert and Timothy

Earl M. Lambert passed away on Sunday October 5, 2008 at the age of 86
years.  Beloved husband of Joyce Butler Lambert of Ponchatoula. Loving

(Vincent O.) of Baton Rouge, Robert (Bobby) L. Lambert (Susie), Carol
Lambert-LaNasa (Jimmy) and William (Billy) D. Lambert (Ce-Ce) of
Ponchatoula.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Lambert Jr.
and Leonard L. Lambert and one granddaughter, Amy Kathryn Tallo.  Mr.
Lambert forged a brotherhood with his fellow US Marine Raiders that endured
throughout his life. He dedicated 44 years of his life as a loyal employee
of Western Electric. He had a life long passion for making old cars new and
was a good master of the dogs that loved him. He left great memories for
his wife, children and grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to

U.S. Army Spc. Jim Lambert, was killed in action Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in 
Fallujah, Iraq. He was 23, a resident of Fort Drum, N.Y., and a native of 
Hammond. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star, the highest award 
given in this campaign. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 62nd Air Defense 
Artillery, 10th Mountain Division. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 
chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, until religious 
service with full military honors at 11 a.m. Interment with full military honors 
at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Rachel Bourgeois Lambert; 
parents, Fred and Rosemary Lambert; maternal grandmother, Joan M. Cain; two 
sisters, Rita Lambert Bihm and Sarah Lambert Ernest; brother, U.S. Marine Corps 
Sgt. Brian P. Lambert; sister-in-law, Regan Bourgeois; three nieces, Chloe, Julia 
and Rebecca; and three nephews, Dominic, Austin and Grant. Preceded in death by
