Lawrence LeBlanc Sr. May 30, 1939 September 12, 2011

Lawrence LeBlanc a native of Arnaudville and a resident of Bayou L'ourse passed 
away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at his residence. 

Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and shrimping but 
he loved spending time with his family the most.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 38 years Frances ÒNancyÓ LeBlanc of Bayou 
LÕourse; two sons: Darry Dale LeBlanc and wife, Penny of Abbeville and Lawrence 
Leblanc Jr. and wife, Heidi of Henderson; four daughters: Mitzi LeBlanc Romero 
of Youngsville, Melissa LeBlanc Weeks and husband, Buddy of Foley, AL, Michelle 
LeBlanc Bowers and husband, Robert Bowers of Bayou LÕourse and Tammy Turnbull 
of Ohio; one step-son, Vincent Lormand of Cecilia; three step-daughters: Linda 
Lormand Shannon and husband, Mitch of Panama City, FL, Tammy Lormand Adams and 
husband, Gerard of Larose and Vickie Lormand Plaisted of Panama City, FL; two 
sisters: Norma Leger and husband, Brad of Leonville and Donna Robin and 
companion Barry Trahan of Pierre Part; 25 grandchildren; 15 great 
grandchildren; three nieces and six nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Elie and Olivia LeBlanc; one 
grandson, Jamie Huval; on son-n-law, Robert Plaisted and mother-n-law, Ameila 
Richardelli.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home 
beginning at 2pm until 9pm with a service starting at 7pm officiated by the Rt. 
Rev. John M. Smilie.
