EVELYN FAY HOLLIS FOSTER

Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Fay Hollis Foster, 87, of West Monroe will be 
held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, West Monroe with Mr. John Ney officiating. Interment will follow in Luna 
Methodist Church Cemetery, West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Foster was born on January 7, 1928, in Morrilton, AR and passed away 
peacefully in her sleep on January 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her 
parents, Percy and Lucy Lawrence Hollis; her loving husband, Henry Vernoid 
Foster; infant son, Kenneth Ray Foster; and siblings, Martha Mae Hollis, 
Estelle Foster, Louise Thompson, Daisy Green and Garland Hollis.

Survivors include two daughters, Gail Foster Brumley and husband, Cecil, and 
Marsha Foster Coates and husband, John; granddaughters, Shelley Brumley Jones 
and husband, Mark, Jennifer Coates Schaffer and husband, Tony, and Autumn 
Coates Morris and husband, Joel; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-
grandchildren; sister, Edna Cootes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Thompson, Joel Holland, Ryan Cheeks, Willie Adams, 
Albert Lawson and Lee Savage.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice Compassus 
as well as the staff of Landmark Nursing Home for their professionalism and 
expertise, with a special thank you to CNA, Bonnie Gray who provided such 
gentle and loving care during Mrs. Foster's declining months.
